Role Overview:

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading global alternative assets data provider as an Analytics Lead for the London-based Marketing division.
Working within the Digital team and alongside senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will develop the dashboards and standardised reporting infrastructure that will form the bedrock for key business decisions. Collaborating with the VP of Marketing Technology, this individual will play a pivotal role in driving Preqin’s analytics and performance capabilities into the future.

As the owner of the company’s key Marketing analytics infrastructure, you will be required to pioneer the development and execution of fact-based reporting, analysis, and analytical models with a view to improving decision making across marketing and beyond. Ultimately, this role is critical to fulfilling Preqin’s insights and predictive modelling ambitions.

Willingness to experiment plays a key part in this position and so we’re looking for an individual who’s prepared to come in and be our in-house expert. As such, you will need to be comfortable planning and running A/B tests and building experiments that provide essential key insights on how marketing tactics and initiatives are performing.
Responsibilities: Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to define and implement frameworks for measuring, reporting and analysing marketing results.
  • Develop dashboards and standardised reports to provide ongoing insight to marketing stakeholders.
  • Work to ensure utilisation and adoption of reporting by key stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain appropriate key performance indicators and ROI models for marketing campaigns and out-of-campaign activities to determine effectiveness.
  • Create advanced and predictive models such as marketing mix, propensity to buy, next best offer and customer lifetime value, and assist marketing teams in using these models to adjust their tactical mixes.
  • Support web design and development managers with empirical insight for the development roadmap.
  • Be the expert on our customer behaviour. Plan and run A/B tests and experiments that produce deep insights on how prospects engage with various marketing tactics
  • Advise on data requirements necessary to perform desired analyses; participate in the development of process modifications needed to deliver required data including cross platform integrations (eg CRM or Finance).
  • Perform segmentation and analysis of prospect and customer groups.

Qualifications: Key Requirements for this Role:

  • Three or more years of analytics experience with tools including Amplitude, Mixpanel, Pendo or Heap Analytics.
  • Five or more years of marketing analytics experience with web analytics tools including Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools including Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or Google Data Studio
  • Proven experience with Lead to Revenue reporting using CRM data.
  • Proven experience in building reporting infrastructure for multi-channel campaigns.
  • Desirable experience working in a SaaS vendor (ideally data).
  • Statistical analysis and modelling capabilities.
  • The ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations.
  • An understanding of business objectives and how to translate them into marketing goals and measurements.
  • The ability to communicate complex data concepts in ways that business leaders and other functions will understand.
  • The soft skills to develop strong working relationships with internal peers and agency partners.
