Job Description

A Customer Sales Support Representative with experience is required to work on a six month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Engineering Client based in Solihull, West Midland although working from home but may need to be commutable from site.

Overview of the Customer Sales Support Representative contract role

Our client offer a wide range of finance solutions to customers and dealers for company machinery. They provide financial solutions and service excellence to help their customers make progress possible, every day.

Responsibilities for the Associate Sales Support Representative

As a Sales Support Representative, you will work closely with the Territory Managers to support dealers, customers and business partners with new and aftermarket sales to offer competitive financing solutions. Daily tasks will involve customer and dealer facing communication, both written and oral, in addition to the processing of financial documents and sales processes. The role is integral to the success of the UK and Ireland' Sales team, an important part of the wider Northern European team which includes the Netherlands.

Within this role you will need to develop skills to understand our Industry, customers and the dealer network.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

1.Provides finance quotations and proposals to dealers, customers and internal staff. These quotations may include various suggested alternatives or scenarios to support the Dealer with the sale. 2.Provide valuable subject matter expertise on financial products to dealers, customers and internal staff including, benefits of working with client. Including assistance with training of internal and dealer staff. 3.Understands and can efficiently utilize local office systems including pipeline and sales management systems to be able to process sales through the origination process. 4. Assists in developing and maintaining customer and dealer relationships, including instigating calls for leads, proposals, investigating, and resolving outstanding queries. 6. May make recommendations on sales related issues by developing, analysing and maintaining local office, area and region office sales and statistical reports, which determine the growth opportunities, effectiveness of sales efforts and competitiveness. May prepare specific reports as requested from time to time by dealers and internal staff.

Key skills required for the Associate Sales Support Representative

Use of excel - intermediate skills (formulas, vlookups etc)

Knowledge of finance (asset finance, sale of etc)

Customer service skills


Previous experience of working within an Asset Finance or Financial Services organisation would be an advantage.

The role is based in Solihull, West Midland although working from home currently.
