Job title: Qualified Employment Coaches
Locations: Bradford, Craven, Calderdale, Harrogate, Kirklees, Leeds, Selby, Wakefield, and York

Salary: £25,220 per annum

We are recruiting Qualified Employment Coaches for a programme at Education Development Trust called Making a Difference Leeds City Region
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and making a difference to people’s lives. Candidates who may not have experience but can demonstrate motivation and great communication skills and willingness to learn on the job. Are dedicated, resilient, have amazing problem-solving skills, are techy savvy and understand how powerful social media can be when trying to deliver a message.
What is Making a Difference Leeds City Region?
Making a Difference Leeds City Region is a brand-new programme to be delivered by Education Development Trust in the Leeds City region of England. The programme is a European Social Fund (ESF) match funded programme which is designed to support both unemployed and economically inactive participants, the aim being to progress them to job search readiness or into paid employment.
Our Employment Coaches will provide into work support for adult participants in a range of community and employer settings, with the support of local labour market information to help make informed career decisions. There will be a need to engage in a sensitive and targeted approach to building skills, confidence and helping people become more employable.
Qualified candidates will hold a Level 4 in Information, Advice & Guidance, have knowledge of local labour market and issues relating to learning and employment as well as a good knowledge of employment, training and personal development.
Knowledge of digital & social media in a working environment and evaluation methods and how to measure impact of activities would also be desirable.

Employment Coaches must hold a current, clean driving license, and have access to a vehicle.
Successful candidates must also be comfortable engaging customers remotely and face to face.

Job Type: Permanent/Full-time (Other working patterns will be considered.)
